According to the BRK.A owners manual a BRK.A holder may at any time convert 1 A share into 1500 B shares. However, I have not been able to figure out just exactly how to do that, I even called Berkshire Hathaway and they referred me to Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo was no help, and my financial institution that holds the stock (Merrill Lynch) also doesn’t know how to actually do it. Has anyone here actually done this conversion? And if so, any leads or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any advice.
