I keep an old XP laptop with only Newport on it. When I retired that computer I had a guy look it over and he declared it healthy, "But just don't connect it to the Internet!"
I have a "My Way" demo but never had the actual program. I always wondered if the developers were originally AIM users but I never had any contact with them. If I remember right it was more a scale trading program - maybe not too different from one of Don Carlson's spreadsheets.
My current laptop/office computer is an HP running Windows 10 Pro. A friend of mine is fiddling with DosBox and feels he may be able to run Newport in it. He also mentioned there's an Android app that might even let Newport run on it! That would be fun.
I'll let everyone know how he does with the project.
