KCC, some here feel Rockley's next-gen tech for Datacom is too complex to be implemented in mass scale, here is a post from another forum on Rockley with similar thoughts

Interestingly Rockley was discussed at a meeting that took place when Vivek joined POET. At the time Rockley appeared to be primarily interest in data communications but we were advised that Rockley had changed their focus to sensing because they could not compete in Datacom. It was an insight that was not apparent to anyone outside of that world. When TM talks about having plans A B and C I believe him. Suresh has always been way ahead of the crowd.
