I think we are past the point of anyone saving us.....

The Ferengi did themselves in, so worried about trinkets and pieces of paper they gave value to..

Like the battle of the 5 armies only with no winner, we assault ourselves from every conceivable direction.

I always wanted to get back to locally grown food and craftsmanship to keep rural America employed and disaster proof...but

The earth itself has a virus and nature's cure is for the virus to kill itself off? Could be..

There is a very good chance however that humans will make it after all......Society is on track to breakdown (which is another thing we are collectively ignoring) not so unlike the great Rome....There will be survivors who can start anew and perhaps get it right next time around....
