Thanks BBANBOB,

I have a question. I have been looking for this information for a very long time and have never gotten a straight answer. (Anyone with leads, please let me know.)

So, here goes...

All we have to do is to look at what happened, SHELIA GRABBED WMI's stuff OOOOOOOPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS now what to do??????????

After JPMC bought whatever they bought from FDIC, JPMC sold the Corporate HQ and gave away the art collection. Was the Corporate HQ and the art collection property of WMB or WMI? It seems to me that a more normal corporate situation would have WMI owning that stuff instead of WMB but I have never been able to find out for sure.

Also, the 'brick and mortar' branches come into question. In my career, I have watched businesses operate and, again, it seems that WMI owning the properties and leasing them to WMB is a more 'normal' way of doing things. Not that Killenger is known for 'normal' business practices (THANK GOODNESS). Does anyone have any knowledge about who owned the 'brick and mortar' branch buildings.

So for those of you who have been here long enough - I refer to you the infamous scrivener's error. Was it an error in the category of 'it never existed' or was it an error in the category of 'I really shouldn't have mentioned it here?'

OT Anecdote:

I once delivered a computer (before the PC revolution was in full swing) to a location. It turned out the corporate structure was Deep and Intricate.

A small group of doctors (I think 4 or 5) owned a holding company.
The holding company owned the clinic that hired the doctors.
The holding company owned the medical lab that the clinic used for its patients.
The holding company owned a leasing company that leased equipment to the clinic and the medical lab.

We all guessed that it was a way to hide assets from spouses. Who knows? My point is that if a small group of less than 10 individuals can make sure that everything of worth ends up in the Holding Company, wouldn't a Huge Conglomerate do the same?
