HK. I assume you require a recent cholesterol test ( lipid panel ) before prescribing Vascepa ......please confirm / correct .

Cholesterol tests were down around 40% during the worst of Covid on 2020 and into early 2021 .......yet some how most here think that should have no affect on the # of Vascepa prescriptions ?

Dr Ralphey ...if you're reading this ...do you require a recent cholesterol test before prescribing Vascepa ...I assume so ?

HK ...could you lay out the steps you go through before writing an actual Vascepa script .
Are your patients from those admitted to the ER for chest pains etc , or your records of those who are diabetic ...or those who have a family history of MI's and you've asked to have a cholesterol test and consult .
