This isn't a really long sentence:
"On March 18, 2020, the Company announced that it had filed a provisional U.S. patent application covering its pharmaceutical grade version of Tauri-Gum™."

From the reading of the March 18th announcement and subsequent announcements made by the Company I KNOW that that statement isn't correct.
