If you research Fauci’s studies and comments on PubMed, it would be odd if any scientist would not raise an eyebrow.

Unfortunately, most people that attack Fauci’s recklessness and likely co-culpability are themselves wrong on many details. Sometimes I think they use strawmen to use bat-shit crazy side arguments to hide the real problems that occurred.

It’s pretty obvious Fauci, NIH and Wuhan fought to get Bat virus gain of function studies opened and then reopened. They were wildly successful in accomplishing acceleration of the Covid virus into a human transmissible deadly virus. They didn’t need genetic intervention to simply infect mammals over and over until they got what they were looking for. The only thing Fauci really contests is that his detractors, he claims, can’t prove it’s their virus (as opposed to a naturally formed virus) and that it escaped from their funded facility. He really would sit down and agree with about all his hard work for decades to convert a deadly bat virus into a deadly human virus. He’d just argue his motivation was to then study ways to make antidotes. Of course, this is silly, because you need thousands of potential victims to study efficacy, and the only way you’ll get that is to start a pandemic that requires vaccine study.

Hopefully they’ll all get sued by the largest class action of all time. Then we’ll learn a bit more about his decades long efforts to support research to make more deadly viruses.

It’s a disappointing situation, that smells an awful lot like an attempt at social engineering, profiteering and racketeering.
