How did this story happen?

At first, there was this (Part 1):

Scumbag Nissen and Cleveland Clinic planted it, by sending it to multiple news organizations, hoping that there were no RAFs to fact-check them. Boy, were they wrong.

To make things worse, Part 1 included an image of Vascepa.

I was disgusted and contacted the author. I came more aggressive than I should have but I was heated. ABC4 immediately removed the image of Vascepa and the author said that she would work with me to correct the story.

I told her that although I am knowledgeable in Vascepa, I am not an MD but could connect her to multiple healthcare professionals. She was very receptive and was willing to learn and listen with an open mind.

At first, I connected her to HinduKush. They spoke on the phone and she became a believer right after that conversation - a big thank you to Hindu.

Then I told her about Dr. Bhatt and Viet Le. Bhatt was unavailable but Viet was and did a fantastic job, as you can see from the interview.

Then last Friday, she needed some legal things from Amarin. I connect her with PR (different from IR) and they gave her what she needed.
