It seems Tesla shares were spring-loaded and suddenly released today. Bad news to all big shorts who were thinking that this time they had it cornered. C'est la vie, in the stock market.

But the market is the boss.

PS: Watching what todays' participants in this "burst in price" will do until closing time of the market. We shall get a clue if there were many lucky day-trading and day-traders. I like to understand what the clues mean. That's why I am excited about the market. It's a constant challenge for those who follow it closely.
