Great initiative, Nick. Paulson would definitely be the natural partner for us in this ordeal as he was also stung by HMC's grab - unless they had some dealings under the table that made Paulson whole. Still worth a try.

I'd advise against reaching out to GS or any institution with a prime brokerage arm. They deal with these guys quite a bit and they're aligned with hedge funds. They also rarely do any special situations plays of these sort on their prop side.

My main targets for this cause would be people such as Klarman (Baupost was involved in these and Novagold iirc), Paul Singer, and Dan Loeb, for starters. I'd pitch it to Einhorn, Tepper, Cohen, Soros, Icahn, maybe Ackman, Maybe Tudor Jones. Heck, even Burry although he's gone of the deep end with conspiracies lately.

I'd also advise against including those links as is. They're good for the general public, but a bit too sensationalist for professionals. A paragraph about the rights and entitlements of the seller warrants, as dictated by the courts, and how Mudrick is playing fast and loose with his part of the bargain. That should suffice.
