Listen, What ENZC NEEDS is a BIG Pharma Partner..PERIOD!
Any NIH/NSF funding is fine for preliminary start-up Biotech's like for validation studies, etc, BUT that isn't going to cut it by a LONG SHOT relative to the enormity of what they're doing and where they're headed.
ENZC will indeed obtain NIH and/or NSF funding and that's good and that could be announced any day now, but what this company requires to make it to the BIG TIME is a Big Pharma partner who has DEEP POCKETS and performs a variety of functions all the way from conducting Phase I-IV Clinical Trials AND everything else in between including the all important Globalization Marketing aspect that is an on-going extraordinarily expensive process!
The reason I know this is I myself am an M.D. Clinical Trials Professional of over 30 Years who has conducted dozens of pharmaceutical validation studies all the way from bench research to actual human subjects clinical trials and the core players in all of this has always been BigPharmas financing it all, and it's EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE, literally hundreds of millions of dollars required to bring a candidate drug to market. I'm telling you what the FACTS ARE!!!
So don't think for a minute that a NIH and/or NSF grant for a Million Dollars is going to cut the mustard, and not only this such grants are generally a ONE TIME DEAL and IF the grant is renewable, it generally is for one additional grant ONLY and there are several "end points" that MUST BE ACHIEVED for grant renewal to be approved by a Board.
So my point, OK, NIH/NSF initially providing needed capital via grant funding to ENZC to get up and running, to put them on track headed in the right direction! EXCELLENT! That can and will happen, AND a renewal is possible but it is NOT guaranteed, and IF that were to happen, it would be for 12 additional months only.
I know this information because my Post-M.D. training was via NIH's Program to become a Principal Investigator of Clinical Trials and because of this I'm thoroughly acquainted with their grant making process which would be the same for any Federal Agency such as the NSF.
These types of Grants are viewed as "seed money" only to assist a promising Biotech or newly formed Pharmaceutical company to get up and running. These are NOT long term grants and they are SMALL grants in contrast to the enormous capitalization requirements needed for these type of companies.
The "Take Away"?? ENZC NEEDS A Big Pharma partner for the long haul. This would make everything seamless and much more efficient including the FDA's U.S. based Human Subjects Clinical Trials requirement for candidate drug approval, AND the all important Global Marketing-Commercialization process. ALL of this is extremely expensive and it requires an "on-demand" constant infusion of Millions upon Millions of Dollars uninterrupted! A BigPharma partnership is the name of THAT TUNE!! I'm just telling you all the way it is!
In closing the single best example of what ENZC NEEDS is what Cytodyn did early in their development stages, i.e. they acquired a "deep pockets" BigPharma partner and the rest is history, and today they're well on their way to bringing their "Leronlim" Monoclonal Antibody for treating AIDS/HIV to Market despite the fact that it's far inferior to ENZC's Clone-3 due to it having "Viral Escape", so at best it is an "adjunct therapy" like ALL the others on the Market and to boot it comes with all kinds of terrible side effects.
And one more thing, when Cytodyn announced they were partnering with a BigPharma, their stock PPS shot UP from 0.26 cents to $10!. Today they're trading in the $4-$5 range and they still have NOT brought their Monoclonal Antibody to market but they will soon, and their PPS will likely skyrocket well past $10 when that happens.
In contrast to this, IMO, ENZC will likely soon have multiple BigPharmas offering to partner with them that might be via acquiring licensing rights for developing their pipeline of pharmaceuticals for treating AIDS/HIV and/or Covid-19 OR a BigPharma will straight up BUY THEM ALL CASH in the $$Billion$$ Dollar Range!!
Either way...WE WIN and the PPS will suddenly JUMP into the double digit Dollar range and continue to rise for years to come!
