"Let's take Call of Duty product as an example in a very simplistic approach: Take gross sale number, typical industry royalty rate (2%? to 6%?), without and with punitive damage (for willful infringement) take lawyer fee and tax into consideration, then apply outstanding shares then one would come up with a ROM number per share basis (I don't recommend apply any multiple because there is no growth in Worlds)."
Your to far in the weeds(looking at one game)....Take the income per year per gaming company(ies)for each year exposed.....given,big numbers which requior ball park figures....figures in the Billions industry wide.
FYI, gaming industry made 95B in 2018(last figures I had)Activision that year did something lie 45B 2018. A guess...since 2012 till now the gaming industry averaged...say....70B per year +- 10B
