Allscripts EMR fixed.

Their default was Icosapent Ethyl being sent to the pharmacies even though Vascepa was selected.

I recognized it and shared with the EMR team the data surrounding the legal disputes, carve out, Reduce it indication....and the generic had some questions about purity which could lead to persistent CV risk.

The default has now been changed to brand Vascepa.

Makes me wonder how many more ePrescribing programs are set up that way?
