FWIW, in 2018 when I was "one of those guys" -- the annoying "high school monitor" -- warning the inexperienced to be careful -- and provided solid DD to back up my warnings -- a few actually listened and believed. They sent PM's thanking me for saving them thousands of dollars. In one case, tens of thousands. So how was it a waste of time? But i understand the "game" >> bizarro world >> somehow NOT a waste of time to fabricate bullshit in order to transfer money out of the pockets of the inexperienced and into the pockets of the predators. There ought to be a law.
