I respect and generally agree with most of what you say, but highlighted in red below I certainly do not. Sure, Joe Shmoe isn't shorting a 0.05 stock, but to ignore the strength and the multitude of tactics that of a market maker seems foolish. The OTC is arguably the easiest prey for MM's to manipulate given that 19 out of 20 OTC stocks will go the typical debt/dilution route.

Times are certainly changing, but to turn a blind eye on the current manipulation is misleading IMO.

I have been around quite a while and also worked in the firms and traded a fund.

There is no manipulation today just a general lack of interest on either side. No bid support and no sale volume.

When sticks have no bid support after run ups they fall on low volume. It’s just how it works no manipulation.

Nobody shorts illiquid stocks with multi-baggers potential because Game stop happens. The risk can reward is terrible, the liquidity even worse.

We have entered the show me stage. Where if they deliver the upside continues of they don’t we fall another 50%, unless someone wanting size shows up.
