My concern is that Robinhood was under capitalized and their clients found out too late. I think they were playing fast and loose with the regs.
Have you been following it today? It'll still be trading for a few more hours. For most of the session, it was stable in the mid-40s. And then in the last hour of the regular session, it took off like a bat outta hell. There were several exchange halts, including one just before the bell. It closed at 91.70.
But that was nothing compared to what went on afterhours. it got as high as 195 before falling back to the 140s. Right now, it's moving up again, and is current at 173...
So. Will there be some kind of response from the regulators? I have no idea.
