Don’t mean to insert myself into this thread in an unsolicited fashion, but I’ve been having some feelings about certain things lately, and your comments reinforce one specific feeling I’ve been having.
That is, sometimes we (in general terms) disagree with people to the point where there is a falling out, but morally, we know we’re right. In the case of friendships it might lead to excommunication (or people unfriending/unfollowing us on social media). I try to wear that “excommunication” as a badge of honor in those instances. It’s not me, it’s them.
