Secretary of the Interior Order no. 3395 regarding 60 Day Temporary Suspension of Delegated Authority. This order should expire on March 20, 2021 in around 4 weeks.

https://www.doi.gov/sites/doi.gov/files/elips/documents/so-3395-signed.pdf

Excerpt 1:
Sec. 3. Suspension of Authority. The delegations of authority to Department Bureaus and Offices to take any of the following actions are hereby temporarily suspended, but may be approved by leadership identified in Section 4 of this Order.

Excerpt 2:
g. To issue any onshore or offshore fossil fuel authorization, including but not limited to a lease, amendment to a lease, affinnative extension of a lease, contract, or other agreement, or permit to drill. This does not limit existing operations under valid leases. It also does not apply to authorizations necessary to: (1) avoid conditions that might pose a threat to human health, welfare, or safety; or (2) to avoid adverse impacts to public land or mineral resources.

Gulfslope’s “valid” BOEM GOM OCS Tau Prospect leases G35244 and G36121 should be included and classified in Section 3, line 3 of item (g).

Layman’s terms Gulfslope’s current Tau leases would be grandfathered in (old rules still apply) and protected against a 60 day temporary suspension. Even President Obama’s temporary suspension was for only 6 months.

BSEE issued 3 Applications for Permit to Drill ‘APD’ just this Friday.

“Onward and Upward”,

Mrs. Smith

P.S.
You’re welcome, GSPE’s intricate Spreadsheets and uncomplicated V’ger program now looking promising, but of course with Phasers still on standby smile
