With respect, I do not agree that there was a gap at / near $0.87. From my learnings, a gap is an untested price level that got skipped for whatever reason, and the reason they get filled is to "test" those levels. The 0.86 / 0.87 "gap" area, over the weekend from Oct 9th to 12th, was tested 8, 13, 14, and 18 days prior to the gap, so the market "knows" the market's reaction to those price levels already. Therefore, I do not foresee any reason, aside from negative TLD results, for the price to need to fill any up-gaps below the current price level.
