Ok. I see your reasoning. I think it is an education process stateside. The Aussies voted it at the top 5 lith companies. They are a mining country and mining in and of itself , is much better understood there. I am still loading. Their bigger share holders are more than likely breathing lightly as it seems to be at the bottom of fibs. If it goes much lower i will buy more. Mining companies are volatile, especially the juniors. Thats to my advantage , indeed. The lith run is just heating up. Its coming in under the wire, after silver ( solar panels , antibacterial) gold( store of value) , copper ( electrification, infrastructure, elect vehicles) nickel, ( battery metals) and then lithium( Tesla, lol) platinum( cat converters) , zinc and graphite. Any of the last four are in the sweet spot, but that is because the mines have been in low production and non economic due to decent supply. But with Bidens infrastructure and green rulings, we are going to see supply lines challenged. Anything somehow touching a tesla supply line contract, to me is the golden egg. I think we see it start to rise soon but the downward cycles my best friend for now. All is Imo. Minings a different beast. Remember, when the S&P begins its move down, mining stocks usually do go down as well. Its likely more to do with obtaining cash to pay margin calls. But boy, when everything has bottomed, picking up quality metals mining stocks is a song, so get your shovel ready. Its not bad to hold a prec metals, etc. thru a downturn cuz if the metal is needed, the price pops right back up . All imo. But you could sell near the top, beginning of downturn, but then who ever believes the market is sure to tank?? I held mine and did well. Metal ( mining) commodities are soooo cheap now. Unless you want Bitcoin. An outlier( mined item)I will gander its possibly a better gamble, if the feds do not turn on it , as a competitor currency beyond its control. I think thats its only drawback!
