I don’t think shareholders generally have much leverage to force disclosure on this sort of stuff. I have owned other stocks where buyers have gone public with real concrete offers that were 50% to even 100% over where the stock was trading and those BODs either would not comment or in one case simply stated it was rejected because it was not in the best interests of the company. Super frustrating.

There are also always so many moving parts to these sort of offers and feelers that it is easy for Management to find a reason why it is best to say no.
