While what you say is correct very few people actually make money on those stocks.Most end up buying in the middle or top of the run up and are then stuck with a boat load of shit they can't get rid of.I am always surprised though at the large number of people that claim they bought at rock bottom and sold just in time before it plummets. I guess most don't like to admit their mistakes.
