If I understand you correctly

390 patients x .27 = 105 deaths expected if all placebo

1/3 is placebo, so 35 deaths

87 deaths in the study

so 52 death in LL's 2/3,divide by 2, would be 26 deaths per third

26/35 is a 25% reduction in deaths.

That is not significant?
