I'm ok, but my only 8 yr old furnace is not - it died last week, repair guy said it was a dirty igniter, cleaned it, ran like a champ thereafter, thought I got lucky - no such thing, unfortunately. Woke up to a 53 F house this morning, damn furnace broke again - I cleaned the igniter, it was dirty again (bizarre), but the furnace refused to start - and worse, I saw a blinking red light on the main circuit board, never a good thing. Tech came out this afternoon, turns out the circuit board is fried - CRAP! It's supposed to get down to 25 F here tonite and I only have two 1500 watt electric space heaters to warm up the house - will be able to sleep ok, but it's gonna be frigging cold inside tomorrow. They had to overnite a new board so it will be here tomorrow and installed in the afternoon. "Only" $750 to replace, but my old furnace lasted 20 yrs before it's circuit board fried - cheap Chinese electronics infest every appliance on earth now.
