Those numbers mean less than it appears.

A trade can be marked short by a MM and covered 1 second later and it is still considered a short sale.

I have never seen any evidence that those numbers have any predictive power or real meaning. If you can find a source that shows that those have any real meaning please post it.

The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with its own money.
