What s/he’s saying is that Li has no incentive to prioritize LM financial success if by absorbing their IP into his other companies he can make billions from those other company’s profits. Once LM IP is in the DNA of the others he can let LM die or just disappear. Means we would be a consumable in that case.

It’s like a track star who eats power bars and wins races. He doesn’t buy the bar to resell it higher. Rather he uses it up completely to ensure his success in other areas.

The argument is strong and valid that China has orchestrated LM’s purchase through Li to consume it to power all sorts of other ambitions. I think it’s likely no one in the system actually cares about American investors or LM’s ultimate profitability.

In this scenario our only hope is that LM accidentally becomes hugely profitable, because everyone is too busy using the IP to unravel the company. But I don’t think we’re a priority *at all.* we win if we get lucky.

Plus keep in mind that we only get paid through sales in Europe and USA. China could save all LM products to be China-only as a competitive advantage. Then we’d all be screwed.

In summary: there are many ways we get screwed on this investment, whether or not it becomes widely used, and there are only a few ways we win.

That’s why I’ve begun selling on the highs and not buying on the lows. My average is 16 cents so I’m still losing, but I figure if huge news comes out I’ll buy at 25 cents on the way up, and not feel badly at all about missing ultra-lows. Meanwhile it’s time to start moving my limited means into something that will bring gains. You know, like a real company, not like this Zombie company which may or may not actually be alive.
