Thank you Falconer

Last night I listened to a radio talk show and the guest was Dr. Ray Casciari, a pulmonologist from St Judes. He does a segment on the Tim Conway Jr. show twice a week about all things covid19. During the course of the interview Tim asked the Dr. how many years of education did he have? The Dr. replied 4 years of college, 3 years of med school, 2 years residency, so 9 in total.

As a follow up question Tim asked him, "So how much of your education did you apply to your practice?" Dr Casciari answered "zero". He then explained that the science moves so fast by the time you can apply it to the real world everything has changed. You have to keep up with the new science throughout your career to stay relevant. What you learn in school is how to keep learning because that is your mission in life, to never stop educating yourself.

That's what I get from you Falconer. Your thirst for knowledge is obviously a life long endeavor. I always feel I have learned something every time I read one of your post. So I just want to say thank you for all your efforts.
