Day before yesterday, I lost my Son-in-law due to metastatic bladder cancer at age 48! A beautiful life cut short by this devastating disease. He had a beautiful family life with a wonderful wife (my daughter) and two energetic and adorable kids ages 7(boy) and 10(girl). He started his career as a Professor at Wharton Business School (U Penn) in 2004 immediately before he got his PHD from Harvard. In 2014, he moved to Toronto to join University of Toronto (originally he was from Canada) with the whole family. He moved back to Washington, DC and started commuting to Toronto every week returning back to DC in the week ends to support his wife's outstanding (in my standard) career. I say outstanding because in 2017, she was awarded the 2016 "Prestigious Fleming Award" in Applied Science and Engineering. She was the only recipient in 2016, who was recognized as "World-renown" for her contribution in international nuclear safety at a young age of 43 (one of the youngest, if not the youngest). A year before, in 2015, she received the second highest Civilian Honor (Honorary Meritorious Service Award) from US Federal Agency. And, yet she is so humble.

By the way, my son-in-law and my daughter both are Princeton Alumni along with Ms. Linda Powers.

I can not refrain from repeated thinking that DCVax-direct could have given my son-in-law at least a few more years of extra life with his beautiful family and vice versa, had it not the Wall Street illegal greed extending the approval process of DCVax direct by financially crippling NWBio to near bankruptcy. This thought keeps reminding me of Inclinedampforest post #351389.
