Although this discussion has little to do with BIEL’s value - I think we all agree with that premise - the number of shares is not completely neutral. If anything, it sets the minimum value one must pay to buy a share (many brokers do not allow the sale of fractional shares) hence the trading patterns, even though this is mostly impactful when we are in high prices, not for penny stocks (I suppose people put at least more than 1 dollar when they do a transaction on the market !). Then there is at least a « psychological » effect, and also the various rules related to minimum value etc (not really on the OTC, for sure)...
At the end of the day, If it really had no impact, companies would never do forward splits to increase the liquidity of their float.
Anyway, these discussions are fun but right now, I’m just pleased with recent increase in pps and news from the company
