Been reviewing a lot of the older AIM posts and digging out lots of nuggets from long time users. I'm having a slight problem with the AIM Advice Calculators.

With respect to the AIM Advice Calculators, specifically the Hold Zone Calculator, item 5 to be entered in the upper box calls for "Minimum Purchase % Of Stock Shares." Where does this number come from? It's not as self-evident to me as the other entries.

I also am wondering about the instruction for this item which calls for the "MIN ORDER SIZE (% of stock value). In other words, the calculator itself wants a minimum % of shares while the instructions call for a % of stock value. Which is it?

Can someone please let me know what the value to be plugged into slot 5 of the Hold Zone Calculator is based on and where it comes from.

Thanks in advance for all assistance.
