I get your point and it is a valid one. A lot involved in the overall process on many levels.
But relative to my mentioning the typical 10-Year time is a reference to the initial R&D period of scientific laboratory "bench research", i.e. the "discovery process." That is a very lengthy laborious process, it is an expensive process, but ENZC is WAY past that and the turning point was when they got the Patent on Clone-3. But from that point years ago forward to now there were still many obstacles to over-come and the main one being financial.
The average cost to bring any pharmaceutical to market is approximately $1 BILLION which is why many if not most BigPharmas/Biotech start-ups turn to an IPO which ENZC choose not to do. If they had, they would of been able to bring their Clone-3 therapeutic to market years ago.
As a result of this it has taken them significantly more time to get to where the are today, and they have overcome an amazing amount of obstacles to make it happen and it is indeed NOW happening!
I strongly believe that the WARP SPEED initiative they were invited to participate in at Texas A&M is the "catalyst" that will bring everything together. It gives them instant high profile exposure and also puts them on the radar of every major BigPharma in existence.
A parade of funding will naturally follow in waves. Although they may choose to NOT be bought out by a BigPharma, nevertheless IMO they are going to need to partner with one like Cytodyn did with their Monoclonal LeronLim Antibody. This would instantly put them into the global marketing-commercialization phase for Clone-3 and quickly establish them as a major player in the industry. It would also allow them to diversify their clinical trials agenda for other clinical applications of Clone-3, i.e. treatment of a host of other infectious viral diseases, MS, and various cancers, etc.
I believe all of this is going to occur in sequence post-Warp Speed findings that will accelerate them market that much faster!
These factors combined will move them to market at amazing speed making up for lost time.
