Its the other way around. The price of the offering will be driven by market forces at work every minute of every trading day. The greater the offering, the deeper the discount to move the stock. Volume here has been good, which is a good thing for raise. If the offering is accompanied by news such as an acquisition, then that would have its own impact based on how the market likes the deal.
