alm2, Unfortunately, residual damage from those who have had COVID-19 is
something that the US government does not seem interested in. They may
believe that a vaccine is sufficient to control this. What they fail to
consider is that the vaccine will not protect everyone, the benefit may
wear off over time, and some new strains of the virus may be immune to
the vaccines. What will be needed are long term, safe therapies for
those individuals with residual health issues (mainly inflammation) from
the virus. Steroids are used but they are not a safe long term solution.
Vascepa should be looked at as a potential safe long term therapy. My
disgust with JT (and I hope I am wrong on this!) is that he appears to
do nothing BOLD with regard to increasing the visibility for Vascepa
as a potentially viable and safe treatment for COVID-19's residual
health issues for some patients. (Again, it is another example of
a great drug being laid to waste because Thero does not understand
what he has or what he needs to do with it..again, I hope I'm wrong
about this!)
