Part II. Fossil fuels will be around for at least the next 40 years.
Our world needs energy and over time it will come from many diverse
sources. If global warming is real imagine what countries such as
India and Iran will have to do to keep its populations alive...Massive
air conditioning demanding tremendous power loads. Regardless of what
the US and Europe do with climate change; India, China, and Russia
will be there to counter any gains. Maybe in 200 years much of mankind
will live underground as protection from global warming. Will not be
my problem!

Final thoughts: Fracking is not dead! Fracking will become even more
cost effective and efficient due to technological advancements such as
ERII's elegantly improved "VorTec" and related PX technologies. Once it
is adapted to the industry it will cut the costs of fracking down further.
The Permian will continue to provide energy for at least the next 20 years.
(Maybe Elon will decide to build wind and solar farms on TPL lands!)
Actually, if Elon were ever made aware of TPL I bet he could find some
creative uses for the massive assets it holds.
