"Scientists don't go on to build businesses?"

i didnt say that...what i said was: "scientists USUALLY work for a company or university."...

"And their products just stay in the lab not to be commercialized?"

what a completely erroneous statement...where on earth did you ever get an idea like that?...smh

"i guess anyone can start a Spider Silk company. Doesn't mean anyone can sustain one."

once you have achieved the spider silk, the rest aint rocket science...its just regular business...should not be all that difficult to do...

it would be difficult if you have no business sense or experience and are trying to do it with pocket change funding and cant seem to stop making stupid mistakes and decisions...

if you have achieved spider silk and 10 years later are STILL not producing or selling any, then theres a very serious problem somewhere...and if it isnt in the silk or silk process, then its the management...

"Sure, if KBLB wasn't shooting for the actual performance characteristics of Spider Silk in their products something could have been churned out, but, they know that's not what will sustain the company."

if you will look at the pr's, you will see that kim has sent over to Vietnam for mass production, ds AND ms...ms as we know was developed 10 years ago...

so your theory about taking so long being due to wanting so much better doesnt really make sense...

"Nor reap the most profits."

you dont wait 10 years until you have the most bitchiness silk..you develop ms, you mass produce it and then start selling it asap...and you keep doing the r/d...

"Getting it right is more important than just creating something just to say they did it."

they must have gotten it right with ms cause they gonna be mass producing it...AFTER 10 years have gone by...

"Mr. T knows what he has"

he knew it 10 years ago...
