IMHO, a BO target without solid analysis to justify the number is a hollow exercise and wasting board space.


You read an ESPN article about an upcoming NFL season. That article lists a prediction of wins for each team. Are you the type to write to the editor, complaining that those 'numbers are a hollow exercise and it is wasting the article's space'?

It's a little, fun, harmless exercise. Not that serious or worthy of complaining about.

I'm terribly sorry for trying to do something fun for the board.
