If EVERYONE wore masks maybe there would be a “decrease”. Perhaps the reason that hospitals EVERYWHERE in this country have not been overwhelmed with Covid cases is because the spread of the virus has been mitigated by the people who are wearing masks. Perhaps the reason that morgues EVERYWHERE in this country have not been overwhelmed with Covid deaths is because the spread of the virus has been mitigated by the people who are wearing masks. In other words, masks may be slowing but not stopping the spread of the virus. And just maybe it is the people who are refusing to wear masks who are the reason that there is still an “increase” instead of a “decrease”.
