George, the 5000 plus page bi-partisan bill was negotiated and written by duly elected representatives in congress. Of course most folks aren't aware of the details.

One major component of the bill that was direly needed was covid relief.

Nero fiddles while Rome burns. You nor the president may not see the need for the relief package included in the bill, and there's need for additional funding, but the matter is that the American people are hurting and there's no politicking around that.
