I am also dealing with serious health issues. In the last year I've done much better than 20% overall, much better, but still adding to my AVXL long term stash because I believe the company will revolutionize medicine.

A green energy company stock that I owned has appreciated beyond my wildest expectations recently, Anavex will soon do the same. I own about 16x my original intended goal for holding the stock as my perception of its value keeps increasing.

My daily needs are taken care of so I'll be leaving most of my portfolio to my grand nieces. Some of us also have different time lines.

I do make comments on my charts, I usually don't do much annotation of the charts per se. It isn't possible for me to share the way I use charts because I flip through daily and intraday charts in multiple time frames in the same way you can flip through a few drawings on cards to create a moving cartoon. It gives me a sense of the dynamic movement of a stock. This is an approximation of what some AI does, something that I've learned to see, and not everyone's brain works that way.
