I suspect SP decline is a combination of
1) MM working the price down, using small HFTs, to get price down, then will cover the naked shorts they needed to do, because of the recent run up.
2) EOY tax selling
3) some capital raising dilution

All IMHO...certainly no link to direct evidence!
