Chicken Cheese Sticks

Here’s another easy and delicious recipe for you guys! Chicken cheese sticks can be served as snacks and during Christmas and New Year because it’s easy to eat.

Ingredients
½ kilo ground chicken = 1.10 lbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, minced
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
Cooking oil

FOR COATING
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 ½ cup breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure
1. Season flour, beaten eggs and breadcrumbs with salt and pepper to taste. Mix and set aside.

2. In a bowl combine ground chicken, onion, garlic, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs (the 1/3 cup), salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

3. Scoop a tablespoon of the mixture and shape into a log. Repeat process until you shape all the mixture into a log.

4. Then dredge each chicken cheese stick into flour, dip in egg and roll in breadcrumbs. Do this until you finish coating all chicken cheese sticks. Chill in the ref for 30 minutes, so the coating will hold while frying.

5. Heat enough oil for frying. Fry chicken cheese sticks in batches over medium heat. Turn occasionally so it will fry evenly. Fry until golden brown in color. Drain oil in tissue paper. Served hot with catsup.

We had finger food Monday
Bottom left is the second batch of chicken fingers, then next to it is the first batch. I had the oil too hot for the first batch. Then 3rd on the bottom is some chicken that was left over that I just coated with flour, then egg, then bread crumbs.

Top left is Philly cheese steak egg rolls, then of course the deep fried mushrooms.

Next I'm gonna try these, mmm mmm
