I beg to differ. I KNOW what I am reading. That is OK. I am an investor.

But yes and surely, a brokerage CAN sell any or all of a portion of anyone's stock if they deem such account(s) violate their margin requirements, etc.. SO yes, a brokerage can do anything if they deem your account negatively impacts their business model... They usually send you and email or call you beforehand to warn you they will be doing so unless you meet some standard to keep your positions with them...
