I had a very similar experience.

A woman I knew was/is an enormous marketer.

To this day I simply am astonished with the things she has brought to market.

(I’ve written in here about this before)

I introduced Mark to her with a three way conference call.

We spoke of SFOR’s product and the desperate need for marketing.

He eventually quit returning her calls after she repeatedly asked him for details on the efficacy of the product.
She told me that he could not produce results that mirrored claims.

She dismissed him as a fraud.

They never spoke again.

Her and I remain friends.
