Per the link below, for soybeans, a bushel is about 60 lbs and the standard is 13% moisture.

In the first link, the two columns posted are for 10.25% moisture and dried. The 8,783 BTU/lb listed for the 10.25% is close to the standard 13%. The BTU rating is a little higher than I calculated but close (8,513 adjusted). At either number, the five gallons of biofuel has more total heat content than a bushel of soybeans.
