It is hard for me to understand how some on this board would like for us to believe that this is a failed trial or that management is trying to pull one over on us for their own benefit or that management just doesn’t know what they are doing. The two women who are the key people behind NWBO and this treatment are Linda Powers and Linda Liau. Based on the following information I just cannot believe that these two women are willing to sacrifice their reputation, their hard work and forget where they came from simply to try to cover up some failed trial. These women are clearly brilliant, motivated leaders and I for one am looking forward to the results and know that once the results are out Glioblastoma treatment will forever be changed for the better.

Linda Powers’ father, Phillip W Powers, died while fighting brain cancer on October 23, 2003. Ms. Powers holds a B.A. from Princeton University, where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She also earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School.

Linda Liau’s mother died at 51 after being diagnosed with cancer, it started in her breast but ultimately spread to her brain. Dr. Liau received her B.S. degree in Biochemistry and B.A. degree in Political Science, both with honors, from Brown University at the age of 19. She then earned her M.D. degree at Stanford University in 1991 and a Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience at UCLA in 1999. After completing her residency and fellowship training in Neurosurgery at UCLA, she joined the faculty at the UCLA School of Medicine (future David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA). She also earned her M.B.A. degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
