As far Opko, it is a 2-3Billion dollar company right now (MCap around 3Billion), however, it is a heavily shorted and trashed stock due to the CEO & Chairman Frost's insider trading few years, the stock was trading close to $20 few years ago (Jun 2015, $19.21, and also in Jan2000). So, it is a $20 stock even before the acquisition of Bio-Reference Lab (BioR alone a multi billion dollar company prior to its acquisition by Opko). Opko is a diverse company, from diagnostics, testing, drug research, drug development and focusing on various diseases plus unmet, rare health conditions. It is also a anti viral company that is where Cocp comes in and cocrystal is funded by Opko as well as partnership with Merk, besides other sources of revenues, both are breaking out, and both have huge potentials for multi bagger stocks for years to come.
OPKo was one of the first to jump into the COVID-19, it is a leading diagnostic and testing company.
COCP is addressing Covid-19 Vaccine, the drug is already in clinical trials and in progress, thats why cocp is moving now!
If you look at Novava, INO, Vaxart, Moderna, all antiviral and covid-19 stocks, they skyrocketed, but Opko and cocp did not participated in the rally, that is strange, but here is the reason: Opko and Cocp did not ask or get any funding from govt, they are on their own, whereas all those companies rallied took money from govt for developing covid-19. So, OPKO and Cocp will rally much fast and harder than those other stocks, so do your home work and look at these two stocks with huge potentials!. Enjoy the huge ride up!
