IMO - generics are only limited by their ability to acquire API. They will sell as much as they can produce due to automatic substitution policies. This is a finite quantity. They will produce and sell “x” scripts/week. Let’s say their max capacity is 50,000/week. All sales above that will go to Amarin. If Amarin grows scripts to a total of 100,000/week then Amarin sells 50,000. With reps and advertising if they can generate an extra 10,000 scripts/week then all 10,000 go to Amarin. This is why regardless of how much the generics steal from V any growth will benefit Amarin and Amarin alone.
Hold tight and be strong. IF V works on COVID then gV can have their 50,000/week scripts and Amarin can have the remaining 1,000,000.
