The burden of proof is the responsibility of the plaintiffs in this case. Do you honestly think that Huff deliberately put out a fraudulent PR? I don't think for one moment that he did. I know Huff personally and he is not the kind of individual who tries to defraud someone. He has ALWAYS been honest and above boards with me. We've had our little 'falling outs' but he was ALWAYS true to his word.
If Huff is guilty of anything, it is trying to be loyal to his shareholders. He put out a legitimate PR in a timely fashion and it backfired on him. It was not his fault, plain and simple.
If the plaintiffs can't prove deliberate intent to deceive, they have no case.
No man should be considered totally useless....because he can always serve as a bad example.
