In most countries You only own taxes to the country you Live in 365 days/2+1
Then you must pay taxes over your world income and or world capital.
UNLESS you are American! Then Uncle Sam will come after your earned Euro or Yen even though you have left the country years ago. I know Dutch citizen who possesses an American passport thanks to one of their parents.
They must pay US tax even though they not even been on holiday in the US let alone have lived there.
That is a real nightmare for these folks which the EU is currently in discussions with the US government.

A good friend of mine lives in different properties in different EU countries and does not pay any tax anywhere !
